Kevin began his professional career in financial management in 1982. While working on his MBA at night, Kevin worked his way up through three of the four largest banks in Wisconsin. His banking experience includes: credit analysis, loan review, auditing, consumer, mortgage and commercial lending.
In 1989 he accepted the position of Corporate Administrator for one of Wisconsin's largest diversified real estate holding companies. Kevin managed the business operations and investments for an organization with ten offices and over 200 employees and agents. During his tenure, annual real estate sales grew from $80 million to $160 million. He also served on the National Advisory Board of his company's real estate franchiser and as a director of their title insurance and mortgage brokerage subsidiaries.
In 1994 Kevin formed his own residential and commercial real estate company, Select Realty. The founding principle was, and still is, to give his clients a "discount brokerage"option for real estate service. To date, Select Realty's standard 4.5% "Full Service" commission package is the famous alternative to the competition's 6.0% plan.
During this same time, Kevin went on to further his financial expertise in investment and insurance brokerage. After working several years for a regional broker, he opened his own company in 1997, Firstplan Financial. Today the company services a wide range of personal and business clients with portfolios ranging from $5,000 to $10,000,000 in assets.
The individual investor can choose from a complete range of investment services including traditional Brokerage Trading Accounts, 401K Rollovers, IRA's Tax Deferred Annuities, Private Pension Plans, Life and LTC Insurance.
Businesses are offered SIMPLE, SEP, 403B and 401K plans, as well as Key Man life insurance and funding options for corporate Buy/Sell agreements.
